What a pretty free standing lace Christmas angel and light project! Stitch this out and use as a decoration in your home or give as a cute gift!

Materials Required:
Woven Water Soluable Stabilizer White and Red POLYESTER embroidery thread (DO NOT USE Rayon) 1 LED small light. This project used a 1 ¼ “ x 1 ¾”, but smaller would also work. DO NOT USE A REGULAR CANDLE Clear glue (optional or sew with white thread) White machine thread, or just a needle and thread Kinship Kreation Holiday/Light Angel front and back design. (Back design is included when you purchase the front)
Steps:
Step 1. Hoop the woven water soluable stabilizer. Make sure it is doubled as it needs this extra stabilizer. Thread your machine with POLYESTER thread. DO NOT use Rayon as it will not sew as good. Step 2. Select your favorite Kinship Kreations Holiday/Light Lace design (both front and back) and sew onto the woven water soluable stabilizer. Step 3. After it is sewn out carefully cut around the design leaving a good 1/2" to 1" of stabilizer around the edge. Do not cut into any threads. Step 4. Very carefully run under water for just a second or two. This project usually get it wet and let it sit in my hand for a minute until the stabilizer disolves. After the stabilizer starts to dissolve you can take your fingers and remover the rest. Step 5. Carefully lay the wet angel on a linen (or flat, no nap) towel and pat down. Do not attempt to remove the lace until completely dry. After laying the angel on the towel if the edges start to roll up slightly (make sure you do this before it is completely dry. Step 6. You can complete your angel light by putting the front and back together a couple different ways. This project tried both and worked well, but the sewing (if you have a machine or whip stitch by hand) is the best way to go, even on the upper half. Step 7. After the front and back dried take the angel to the sewing machine to finish. You need to make sure you have your machine set for zigzag so the needle swings beyond the satin outline. The stabilizer has done it’s job and it is stiff. Step 8. After sewing the sides together, just do a finger press to both sides.
