E-ZEE HEAT SEAL 5ml Adhesive Embroidery Adhesives

E-Zee Heat Seal 5256 5 mil. is a polyester heat seal with heat-activated adhesives on both sides.

A special release paper is on one side to allow for pressing. It may be used alone or in conjunction with Heat Laminate 3218 to produce permanent seals on patches and appliqués. An economical patch can be created by using 3218 as a stiffener before embroidering and then adding the 5250 as a final coat. It adheres well to cotton, poly/cotton and other blended fabric substrates. Made of polyester.

Heat press settings:

• Machine setting:160°C to 200°C (320°F to 392°F)
• Dwell time: 15 to 20 seconds
• Pressure: 2.8 to 4.2 Bar (40-60 psi)

How to use:
Embroider design and remove from the hoop. Lay a piece of E-Zee Heat Seal on the back side of the embroidery with the release paper facing up. Use an iron or heat press to bond E-Zee Heat Seal to the fabric (see chart above). Allow to cool and then pull off the release paper. Cut the patch to shape with scissors or a die cutter. Finish the edges with a serging machine or a zig-zag stitch on a home sewing machine. Note: ALWAYS test at lowest temperature and time first.
